In a bizarre collaboration that challenges usual forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the official release, "A mysterious meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of forbidden practices and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret sect.
The questline concentrates on "strange experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses
The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Bonus Material
Players who accomplish the mission will receive an exclusive katana together with multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
