Thousands Left Without Power in South-East Queensland and Victorian Regions Following Severe Weather Systems

Nearly 25,000 households in Queensland's southeast were left lacking electricity on the start of the week after powerful weather events swept through the area, generating strong winds topping over 100 km/h.

Residents observed substantial frozen pellets reaching sizes of 7cm in certain regions. Weather authorities verified that different parts across Queensland had been hit with significant hail.
